Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. Cayenne Pepper
- 2 Tbsp. Smoked Paprika
- 1 Tbsp. ground white pepper
- 1 Tbsp. ground black pepper
- 4 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 Tbsp. garlic powder
Directions
- combine in a bowl, and store in a sealed container.
Notes
I always make sure to have this Cajun spice mix on hand- It’s great in just about anything, including jambalaya, dirty rice, fish, fillets, and to incorporate into dry rubs for smoking chickens and grilling steaks.
Note that there is no salt in this mix, so you will want to salt whatever you’re cooking. I find keeping the salt separate is best here because certain foods naturally need more salt than others, and this gives you much more control.
